G&W Electric Co. is hiring a Machine Operator I to set up and operate one-two pieces of manufacturing machinery of moderate complexity. You will work in a hands-on role, ensuring quality and efficiency across the line.

The position emphasizes safe operations, adherence to work instructions, and active participation in team performance. Training may be provided for operators and tool usage.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to read and interpret work instructions.
• Able to safely operate a variety of machinery.
• Capable of using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery with hand tools as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment by following procedures.
• Conserve resources and assist team to complete production tasks.
• Inspect work for defects before handing off to next operation.
• Document actions on production and quality forms.
