Machine Operator I (6:00am to 6:00pm) B Shift

Job Overview

In this role, you will set-up and operate one or two pieces of manufacturing machinery of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery using hand tools as necessary
• Properly dispose of hazardous chemicals
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations
• Conserve resources by efficiently using equipment and supplies
• Train others in machine operation tasks as needed
• Inspect work for defects before passing it to the next stage
• Complete production and quality documentation

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ideally 6+ months of manufacturing experience
• Ability to safely use small hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors
• Ability to operate various machinery

Physical Demands

Work involves medium to heavy physical activity, including lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and standing for long periods.
