Metz Strategic Solutions seeks expert implementers of Lean Manufacturing tools with extensive manufacturing experience in the York-Lancaster PA area. The role leads CI/Lean efforts, drives kaizen events, and implements standard work and daily management systems across the plant.

You will map value streams, train frontline leaders on improvement methods, and work with plant managers to identify and execute CI opportunities and capital projects.

Formación

• 4-year Engineering degree preferred; Associates with hands-on experience will be considered.
• 6-8 years progressive Operations/Lean/Engineering experience preferred.
• 20+ kaizen events completed with working implementation experience across tools listed.
• 75% on-the-floor involvement with managers/supervisors/engineers to drive improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead CI/Lean efforts across the plant and drive kaizen events.
• Implement Standard Work and leader standard work for production managers and supervisors.
• Map value streams and identify opportunity areas for improvement.
• Develop and sustain a Daily Lean Management System including huddle and gemba practices.
• Train frontline leaders on conducting effective shift startups and soliciting employee input.
• Identify waste, prioritize improvement projects, and coach managers on CI tools.
• Manage capital improvement projects including automation and process upgrades.
