Job summary

The Laundry Supervisor at Harmony Hospitality Inc is a hands-on leadership role overseeing the daily operation of the laundry department in Virginia Beach. You will schedule staff, ensure correct chemical usage, maintain workflow, and ensure linen returns to the correct locations.

Responsibilities include recruiting and coaching staff with approval, monitoring payroll and expenses, coordinating with the Executive Housekeeper, maintaining equipment and inventory, and enforcing uniform standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience in hotel or hospital laundry/housekeeping.
• Ability to read and follow chemical formulas and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and direct laundry staff to meet daily occupancy and production targets.
• Inspect laundry equipment daily for cleanliness and function.
• Prepare daily laundry loads and track pounds processed and labor hours.
• Ensure linen quality, proper folding, and inventory control across properties.
• Recruit, interview, hire, coach, counsel, and terminate staff with Executive Housekeeper approval.
