Job summary

Nederveld Inc. is seeking a Full Time Land Surveying Field Technician to support field crews in completing land surveying projects. You will assist with field operations, equipment setup/teardown, marker placement, and path brushing while reading plans for project work.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel as part of regular duties. Standard hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with potential for additional hours based on workload.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Aptitude for mathematics, specifically trigonometry and geometry.
• Ability to read and interpret maps and construction plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Work with 1-2 person crew in the field to assist on land survey projects.
• Assist with setup and teardown of survey instrumentation, placing of survey markers, and brushing of paths.
• Read and interpret construction plans for project work.
