Job summary

Proven IT in Tinley Park, IL is seeking a Systems Specialist II to own escalated employee support requests and keep our essential systems reliable and secure. This hands-on role spans identity, Microsoft 365, endpoints, servers, and networks, requiring clear communication and focused problem resolution.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, automation, and business applications teams, documenting processes and improving workflows to prevent repeats.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of relevant IT support or systems administration experience.
• Hands-on work with server infrastructure and at least two years of practical network troubleshooting.
• Experience administering Windows endpoints, Active Directory or Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 in a business environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication and a service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own support tickets from investigation through resolution, with priority, updates, and clear notes.
• Administer user accounts and access across AD/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and other business systems.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, email, collaboration tools, line-of-business applications, workstations, printers, and mobile devices.
• Support endpoint deployment and management with Intune and Autopilot.
• Maintain servers and core applications; review monitoring alerts and verify backups.
• Triage security events such as suspicious activity; contain or escalate per procedures.
• Support office technology including meeting-room equipment and access systems.
