Red White & Blue Thrift Store in Philadelphia seeks a Director of Information Technology to serve as the second-in-command of the IT department and partner with the VP of IT to run day-to-day operations.

This hands-on leadership role requires technical strength, involvement with systems, and the ability to drive complex issues to resolution while overseeing procurement, security, and major tech projects across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, systems administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary operational partner and backup to VP of IT.
• Lead IT support and infrastructure team with clear expectations.
• Oversee service desk in Jira with ticket prioritization and escalations.
• Maintain ownership of major systems, apps, and vendor relationships.
• Communicate risks and status updates to leadership.
• Lead large-scale Windows deployments and security patches.
• Manage hardware provisioning, vendor relationships, and procurement.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Own major IT projects from planning through implementation.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, HR, Marketing, etc.
• Drive standardization across locations.
