Job summary

American Place Casino is expanding its Training & Development program and is seeking a dynamic Instructional Designer. You will create blended learning solutions, collaborate with SMEs, and engage frontline staff on the casino floor to tailor training to operational needs.

You will deliver live, virtual, and classroom sessions, prototype new content quickly, and ensure compliance for all instructional assets. A portfolio and 3–5 years’ experience in hospitality or casino training are required.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in Instructional Design.
• A portfolio demonstrating original eLearning and curriculum development is required.
• Advanced proficiency with industry-standard eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate).

Responsibilities

• Program Creation: Design, develop, and implement comprehensive blended learning solutions from scratch, including eLearning modules, instructor-led curricula, microlearning, and on-the-job training aids.
• SME Collaboration: Partner with Subject Matter Experts across Casino Operations, Food & Beverage, and Hospitality to extract knowledge and build structured training content.
• Frontline Engagement: Spend time on the casino floor and operational areas with frontline staff to understand training needs and measure effectiveness.
• Facilitation & Delivery: Deliver live, virtual, and classroom trainings to support development goals.
• Agility & Innovation: Rapidly prototype, update, and pivot training materials for a 24/7 gaming environment.
• Compliance & Tracking: Maintain version control, updates, and compliance for instructional assets.
