Job summary

Procter & Gamble (P&G) is seeking an Innovation Design Engineer in Fabric Care at the Ivorydale Innovation Center. This hands-on mechanical/mechatronics role focuses on concept creation, rapid prototyping, and design for manufacturing across Laundry and Fabric Enhancers.

You will collaborate with design, engineering, product development and external partners to bring complex concepts to life. Starting pay range is $110,000–$165,300 with total rewards including benefits and potential bonus.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of electromechanical design and prototyping experience.
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks), tolerance analysis, and FMECA.
• Familiarity with circuits, PCBAs, and programming to build prototypes.
• Experience leading external development partners and cross-functional programs.
• Systems-level thinking across compatibility, risk, and platform variability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, prototyping, and iterative refinement of delivery systems and electromechanical prototypes.
• Translate prototyping learnings into technical requirements for functional devices for consumer studies.
• Partner with teams to support scale-up and design-for-manufacture activities.
