Job summary

Ron Sunshine Associates LLC is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Supervisor to lead daily injection molding operations in a startup manufacturing facility. You will guide production personnel, optimize machine setups and processes, and drive safety, quality, and productivity across first and second shifts.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership, strong troubleshooting skills, and a track record of establishing efficient production standards.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of progressive experience in injection molding operations, including hands-on process troubleshooting and mold changes.
Strong technical knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.
Proven ability to identify and correct molding defects, optimize cycle times, and improve process efficiency.
Working knowledge of thermoplastic materials, resin handling, and material controls.
Experience supporting production startups, equipment installations, or new manufacturing processes.
Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily injection molding operations, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and efficiency goals are met.
Provide direction, training, and technical support to production personnel across assigned operations.
Oversee machine setups, startups, mold changes, and equipment changeovers to minimize downtime.
Monitor production performance, cycle times, material usage, and process consistency.
Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the startup facility.
