Qualifications

Must have mechanical aptitude and interest in developing HVAC and building maintenance skills.
Strong communication, reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Ability to safely use common hand and power tools and learn through instruction and on‑the‑job training.
Valid Vermont driver''s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on HVAC equipment, building systems, and facility infrastructure under guidance of experienced technicians.
Assist with troubleshooting and maintaining air handling units, pumps, motors, valves, controls, and other HVAC equipment.
Develop familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and use system information to support equipment performance and service requests.
Perform routine inspections, identify conditions requiring attention, and document maintenance activities and completed work.
