Job summary

Deist Industries, LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations supporting our manufacturing facilities in Saegertown, PA and Hadley, PA. This onsite role will partner with leadership to drive people strategies and maintain a positive, compliant workplace environment.

The role supports ~70 employees in Saegertown and ~65 in Hadley, with regular presence at both locations to act as a true business partner.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions and ensure compliance.
Recruit, interview, test, and participate in selection of employees to fill vacancies.
Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitudes toward company goals.
Maintain HRIS, personnel & payroll system to ensure data accuracy.
Administer benefit programs including health, dental, life, disability, retirement plans, and leave programs.
Gathers and verifies payroll data for biweekly processing.
Develop wage administration policies aligning with market rates.
Lead and train management in interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, and safety.
Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee issues.
