Job summary

Hollman, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Director of Human Resources to lead the HR function and advise executive leadership. The role spans policy development, workforce planning, compliance, investigations, and employee relations across manufacturing operations.

You will coach managers, advance HR programs, and ensure consistent practices while balancing business needs with employment laws. Strong leadership and bilingual capabilities are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility
• Experience in manufacturing, production, distribution, or similar operational environment
• Experience supporting hourly/frontline and salaried/professional employees
• Strong knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws and compliance requirements
• Experience leading HR staff and building HR programs

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR function and provide direction, coaching, development, and accountability to the HR team
• Advise executive leadership and partner on structure, workforce planning, employee relations, performance, compensation, and talent decisions
• Establish consistent HR policies, procedures, and manager practices
• Lead investigations and resolve complex employee-relations matters
• Coach managers on performance, discipline, attendance, and communication
• Maintain presence in manufacturing operations and build relationships with employees
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Oversee leave administration, workers' compensation coordination, and personnel records
• Maintain employee handbook and HR documentation
• Oversee recruiting across manufacturing and leadership roles and plan workforce needs
• Develop recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation processes
• Monitor recruiting metrics, turnover, and time-to-fill
• Develop manager training in HR fundamentals and performance management
• Lead performance-management processes and drive feedback
• Partner on compensation and benefits strategy and annual reviews
• Ensure payroll administration and cross-department coordination with Finance
• Oversee benefits broker relationships and 401(k) plan administration
• Oversee HRIS administration and data integrity
• Identify opportunities to automate HR processes while maintaining controls
• Support engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives
