Job summary

My Place Hotels of America is seeking a General Manager for the Tucson property. You will lead a small team and oversee all hotel operations, combining strategic planning with hands-on guest service and daily management.

You'll drive guest satisfaction, staff development, safety, maintenance, and revenue strategies, while staying connected to the My Place brand through the Stay Rewarded program. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience supervising a hotel staff or similar team.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer applications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning for the hotel and ensure long-term goals are met.
• Oversee HR functions including hiring, training, and scheduling for a small team.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and guest/security standards are maintained.
• Maintain high quality standards across all hotel areas and guest experiences.
• Manage property maintenance and upkeep to keep facilities in top condition.
• Foster positive community relations and promote the Stay Rewarded program.
• Oversee accounting, payroll, and cash handling, ensuring accuracy.
• Support sales and marketing efforts to drive occupancy and revenue.
• Make informed decisions impacting operations, staff, and guests.
• Communicate effectively to keep staff motivated and aligned.
