Job summary

My Place Hotels in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Guest Services Representative to act as the central contact for guests from reservation to check-out.

You will warmly welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, manage reservations, and record charges for rooms, taxes, in-store purchases, and pet fees per hotel policy. You will also promote the Stay Rewarded program and support front desk operations with accuracy and courtesy.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office and general applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and organization.
• Reliability, professionalism, and consistency in work performance.
• Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in financial transactions and guest records.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and handle check-ins and check-outs, recording charges per hotel policy.
• Provide information on hotel, amenities, local attractions, restaurants, and churches; address guest concerns.
• Operate phone system, take and transfer calls, record messages, and manage wake-up calls.
• Process credit card authorizations and cash transactions, provide change.
• Keep front desk logs, Night Audit Checklist, and logs up-to-date; report issues to GM.
• Follow safety protocols, inspect property, and ensure doors and lighting function properly.
• Promote the Stay Rewarded Loyalty Program to guests.
• Assist with cleaning tasks and stock supplies; maintain cleanliness of common areas.
• Deliver guest supplies and manage master keys for housekeeping and maintenance.
• Assist housekeeping when needed, especially during busy periods.
