Job summary

My Place Hotel in Tucson South is seeking a Guest Services Representative to serve as the main point of contact for guests from reservation through checkout. You will greet guests, handle check-ins/check-outs, record charges, and promote the Stay Rewarded loyalty program.

You will also provide information about local attractions and amenities, manage calls, and support housekeeping and front desk operations while maintaining safety and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and organization.
• Reliability, professionalism, and consistency in work.
• A meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in financial transactions and guest records.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests; handle check-ins and check-outs and record charges per policy.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, restaurants, shopping, and churches; resolve guest concerns.
• Operate the phone system with proper etiquette; take and transfer calls and manage wake-up calls.
• Complete credit card authorizations and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain organized records and report issues to the General Manager.
• Adhere to safety protocols; walk floors, check doors, and ensure exterior lighting is functioning.
• Promote the Stay Rewarded Loyalty Program to enhance guest loyalty.
• Assist with cleaning tasks and stocking supplies; prepare coffee and maintain cleanliness of common areas.
• Deliver guest supplies and manage master keys and key cards.
• Assist housekeeping when needed.
