Job summary

Optimum Connect Health Services is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance, custodial support, safety, and day-to-day facilities operations across healthcare locations in New York. You will travel between sites to inspect conditions, supervise staff, respond to facility needs, and coordinate with vendors for timely repairs.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in facilities and hands-on repair skills, with strong knowledge of building systems, safety, and regulatory

Qualifications

• 5+ years in facilities, maintenance, or building operations.
• Experience supervising facilities staff, contractors, or vendors.
• Healthcare facility experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, custodial, and facilities operations across multiple healthcare sites.
• Supervise, train, and support maintenance and custodial staff.
• Travel between company locations to inspect facilities and verify work.
• Perform minor repairs (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting).
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance programs.
• Inspect buildings, offices, bathrooms, and clinical areas.
• Coordinate repairs, renovations, and small construction projects.
• Work with contractors, vendors, and inspectors.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and certifications.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety procedures.
