Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network in New York is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead facilities maintenance across multiple hospital campuses. You will supervise boiler plant, HVAC, energy center, and clinical engineering, ensuring safe, efficient operation and strong customer relations.

The role requires planning, budgeting, policy development, and safety training, with oversight of maintenance teams and coordination of resources to meet the network's objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in facilities maintenance or mechanical/electrical field required.
• NY State Building Codes or NFPA codes interpretation experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in facilities maintenance or mechanical/electrical fields preferred.
• OSHA 30 hour certification required within 2 years of hire; NFPA 101 Life Safety Code training within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop preventative and corrective maintenance plans for systems and equipment.
• Plan annual department operating plan including operating and capital budgets.
• Lead maintenance staff and coordinate department resources.
• Direct engineering, safety, and compliance activities across multiple facilities.
• Support capital projects and space planning to meet organizational needs.
