Job summary

Canoga Perkins in Headquarters is seeking a hands-on Sustaining Engineer to support and improve our existing product portfolio and manufacturing operations. You will work directly with electronic hardware, PCB assemblies, test equipment, prototypes, and production test environments to diagnose issues and implement lasting solutions.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure reliability and lifecycle continuity, manage changes (ECOs/ECNs), and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering or equivalent.
• Linux, Python, and scripting knowledge.
• Experience in sustaining, manufacturing or hardware engineering.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting with test equipment.
• Experience with ECO/ECN processes and configuration control.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot production and product issues to identify root causes.
• Maintain and improve product performance, reliability, and lifecycle continuity.
• Support substitutions, obsolescence solutions, and product redesigns with proper documentation.
• Provide guidance to technicians and collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations.
