Canoga Perkins is seeking a hands-on Sustaining Engineer to support and enhance our existing product portfolio at the headquarters in the United States. You will work directly with electronic hardware, PCB assemblies, test equipment, prototypes, and production test environments to improve performance, reliability, and lifecycle continuity.

You will investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions, while partnering with Engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in sustaining/manufacturing/test hardware.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electronic hardware.
• Experience with ECOs/ECNs and configuration control.

Responsabilités

• Investigate and troubleshoot product and production issues; perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and improve product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and lifecycle continuity across the existing portfolio.
• Support component substitutions, obsolescence solutions, and product redesigns with evaluation, testing, documentation, and production implementation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and technicians to resolve technical and production challenges.
• Develop, improve, and maintain test procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation for engineering and production use.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot electronic hardware, PCB assemblies, prototypes, test fixtures, and production test equipment.
• Support ECOs/ECNs, change evaluation, and implementation planning.
