Job summary

A1 Garage Door Service is seeking a hands-on technician in Philadelphia who will diagnose, repair, and install garage door systems daily. You’ll talk to homeowners with trust and close repairs through commission-based pay, with uncapped earnings potential.

Expect physical work in varied temperatures, lifting up to 75 lbs, and a clear path to growth through six-week training and ongoing hands-on experience. Weekly pay, benefits, and a company vehicle are provided.

Qualifications

• 21+, valid license, 3+ years driving record
• Can lift 75 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, work in extreme temps
• Some hands-on mechanical experience or comfort with tools
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check, drug test (THC excluded) and driving record
• Basic tech comfort (apps, tablets); reading/math for measurements and payments
• No sales experience required, we teach that

Responsibilities

• Repair and install garage components: springs, cables, rollers, openers, motors
• Diagnose problems and talk to homeowners like a pro they trust
• Hands-on from first job to last
• Sell as part of the job; commission-based with earnings tied to homeowner trust
