Job summary

Lava Island is seeking Foremen for active park builds in Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; and Grand Rapids, MI. This hands-on role covers all trades from demolition to finishing, working closely with the Superintendent on a four-to-six month project window.

You will be multi-trade, move between drywall, paint, flooring and finish work, and ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence on site. Occasional travel may be considered for future projects.

Qualifications

• Multi-trade construction experience across drywall, paint, tile, flooring, and finish work.
• Prior foreman, lead carpenter, or strong journeyman experience required.
• Ability to work independently on the ground while coordinating with the team.
• Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification as required.
• Possession of equipment certifications (scissor lift, forklift) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site presence with the Superintendent from empty space to finished park.
• Perform hands-on labor across trades and coordinate with subs and APS team.
• Maintain safety, quality, and on-time progress; address issues early.
• Keep the site clean, protect completed work, and manage punch lists.
