Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to join our mobile team. You’ll install GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and fleet technology across various vehicles, with opportunities to advance into more complex fleet installations.

Ideal candidates have hands-on automotive or electrical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a mobile setting. Valid driver’s license required and weekend or overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
• Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light-duty vehicles, trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
• Perform basic 12V/24V wiring and wiring routes for clean installations.
• Test system functionality and diagnose issues.
• Document installations with photos and service notes.
