Job summary

Coborn's, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Fleet Support Technician to help keep our fleet, equipment, and facilities clean, safe, and ready for daily operations in our Minnesota locations.

You will support Fleet Maintenance and Transportation teams by cleaning and maintaining company vehicles, assisting with shop operations, transporting vehicles, and performing seasonal grounds maintenance. You’ll also contribute to events and special projects in an employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in vehicle cleaning, fleet support, grounds maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, shop operations, or equipment operation preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn vehicle maintenance and shop procedures.
• Ability to safely operate vehicle cleaning equipment, grounds maintenance equipment, and basic hand and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or with a team.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license; CDL preferred when operating certain vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Support Fleet Maintenance Operations: assist fleet mechanics and maintenance technicians with general shop activities and basic maintenance support tasks.
• Maintain & detail company vehicles: wash, clean, sanitize, and detail trucks, trailers, and equipment to ensure readiness.
• Coordinate vehicle & equipment transportation: pick up, deliver, and reposition vehicles between locations and facilities.
• Assist with parts & inventory: pick up and deliver parts and supplies while aiding inventory management.
• Maintain facilities & grounds: perform seasonal grounds maintenance including lawn care and snow removal.
• Keep work areas safe & organized: maintain cleanliness and safety in shops and wash areas.
• Support company & community events: assist with events including vehicle prep, transportation, setup, and teardown.
• Contribute to team projects: support special projects across Fleet Maintenance, Logistics, and Warehouse.
