Job summary

Innovative Blood Resources seeks a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep of Memorial Blood Center’s fleet from the St. Paul garage, with occasional travel to Duluth.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, repair coordination, documentation, and ensuring licensed, road-ready vehicles. Role requires 2 years in vehicle/facility maintenance, high school diploma or GED, and valid license; ASE and CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of vehicle and facility maintenance experience.
• Automotive mechanic experience of at least 1 year or current enrollment in an automotive program.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• DOT medical card or ability to pass a DOT physical.
• ASE Certification and CDL are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle maintenance support for all vehicles including diesel engine buses.
• Maintain a maintenance schedule and ensure completion of repairs for MBC vehicles.
• Maintain documentation of repairs.
• Maintain inventory of parts, supplies, and tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop.
• Perform interior repairs on vehicles and mounting hardware.
• Ensure vehicles display proper licensing and tabs.
• Obtain quotes from third-party mechanics for larger installations/repairs.
• Provide driving support to and from third-party mechanics for repairs.
• Light facilities maintenance at sites.
• Participates in annual required job training.
• Adheres to company driver’s policies when operating company vehicles.
