Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Coon Rapids, MN seeks a Fleet Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnose issues, and perform preventative maintenance. You’ll work with seasoned mechanics on complex repairs and return vehicles to the traffic center when needed, CDL required.

The role involves managing parts inventory, charging labor to work orders, and coordinating with vendors for estimates. Typical shift runs 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend work as

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age or older.
• May be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift.
• Valid D10K Certification.
• Driver's license not suspended or revoked within past 3 years.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to work in tight spaces for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Required to work on/under trucks for an entire shift (8 to 12 hours) with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including diagnosing mechanical issues and completing preventative maintenance.
• Work alongside experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems.
• Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor.
