Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in fleet maintenance or operations.
• 5-8 years direct management experience.
• Prior technician/mechanic experience.
• Familiarity with heavy truck/trailer repair and maintenance.
• Willingness to travel; oversee multiple shop locations.
• Strong knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Proficient in documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, educate and develop technicians and shop staff.
• Monitor performance and manage multiple shop operations.
• Plan daily manpower to meet workload and deadlines.
• Provide support to operations regarding equipment issues.
• Monitor costs and improve efficiencies.
• Handle payroll approvals and compliance documentation.
• Interview and hire for shop positions.
