Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is seeking a Supervisor, Plant Operations to lead the EVS and maintenance team on the evening shift. The role blends supervisory duties with hands‑on maintenance and environmental services tasks to maintain a safe, clean hospital environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in facilities maintenance with supervisory experience and knowledge of CMS, OSHA, and infection control regulations. Onsite work at Brattleboro, VT is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or EVS, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, CMS, bloodborne pathogen, infection control, and hazardous waste regulations in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign daily tasks, conduct shift briefings, and supervise EVS and Maintenance operations.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned‑shift maintenance and EVS inquiries.
• Supervise day‑to‑day operations in absence of Facilities Manager.
• Answer pages and radio calls to ensure timely communication.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to staff; oversee training and evaluations.
