Job summary

Gametime is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Fan Experience group to lead a team of full‑stack and front‑end engineers. You will code with the team, set standards for frontier models and AI tooling, and partner with Product and Design to shape features that delight fans on web and mobile.

You’ll drive velocity and quality while balancing technical debt and long‑term architecture in a fast‑moving, consumer‑facing marketplace.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering manager with ability to code alongside the team.
• Experience using frontier models, AI coding agents/harnesses, and modern tooling to speed delivery.
• Track record shipping consumer‑facing features that moved measurable business outcomes.
• Strong cross-functional partnership with Product and Design, owning strategic input.
• 5+ years in engineering with several years in management.
• Familiarity with SQL/analytics to diagnose funnel and feature performance.
• Experience leading full‑stack teams with end‑to‑end ownership of consumer‑facing apps.
• Deep understanding of modern front‑end stacks (React) and backend APIs.

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on leadership: code alongside the team.
• AI‑forward engineering: set standards for frontier models and tooling.
• Cross‑functional partnership with PM and Designer.
• Invest in tooling, tech debt paydown, and AI in development loop.
• Surface and mitigate risks with concrete recommendations.

• Align roadmap with fan‑facing velocity and business outcomes.
