Job summary

RISE Services LLC in Fairfax, Virginia, seeks an experienced Employment Program Manager to lead employment services and supervise staff while maintaining a caseload and billable-work expectations. The role blends direct service with program coordination and compliance oversight.

The EPM will oversee Employment Specialists and Job Coaches, manage cases, build employer relationships, and travel across Northern Virginia to support clients in obtaining meaningful employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, rehabilitation, psychology, social work, education, business or related field preferred.
• Experience in supported employment, job coaching, or case management.
• Strong leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to manage supervisory duties with a substantial billable caseload.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with electronic documentation systems and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the service area.
• Ability to complete background checks and screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered employment services to individuals with disabilities.
• Maintain an active caseload and complete at least 30 billable hours weekly.
• Supervise Employment Specialists and Job Coaches in Fairfax.
• Assign cases and monitor staff schedules, service delivery, productivity, and caseload capacity.
• Ensure timely job development, coaching, and follow-up support.
• Review progress notes, reports, and billing records for accuracy.
• Ensure documentation complies with policies, funder requirements, and state regulations.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching, training, and field support.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employers and community partners.
• Travel throughout Fairfax and Northern Virginia for client and staff meetings.
