Job summary

RISE Services is seeking an Employment Program Manager to support individuals with disabilities in Harrisonburg and the Shenandoah Valley. The role blends hands-on direct service with working supervision, focusing on job development, coaching, and employer engagement in community settings.

The position starts part-time with the potential to transition to full-time as caseload grows. A strong candidate will manage documentation, ensure service delivery, and build partnerships across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, counseling, rehabilitation, psychology, education, business, or related field; or seven years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Willingness to travel throughout Harrisonburg and surrounding communities.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on client employment needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to Employment Specialists.
• Direct job coaching and employment-retention support in community settings.
• Engage with employers to identify employment opportunities and address workplace needs.
• Monitor service delivery and ensure timely documentation and compliance.
