Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking Assembly Technicians in Austin to build and repair semiconductor equipment and subassemblies in a high-tech production setting. Great for mechanically inclined individuals eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll assemble components, follow schematics, perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and seek continuous improvements while collaborating with a safety- and quality-focused team. Overtime and multiple shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level to intermediate manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable reading and following technical instructions and diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift and move 30-50 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and semiconductor equipment.
• Follow work instructions, schematics, diagrams, layouts, and test procedures.
• Perform inspection checks to confirm parts, tools, and materials are available and in good working order.
• Troubleshoot issues and help determine corrective actions when malfunctions occur.
• Follow standard processes while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.
• Work collaboratively to meet production, safety, and quality goals.
