Responsibilities

• Performs routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical functions such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models, specialized test equipment, tools and test fixtures.
• Tests and troubleshoots system level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
• Performs new system and NPI installations and field upgrades.
• Follows schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform routine testing and troubleshooting.
• Maintains logbooks and test procedures documentation with clear writing.
• May perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum and process testing on AMAT platforms to documentation and specifications.
• Observes safety standards and maintains a clean, safe work environment.
• Attends safety trainings and follows policies, reporting accidents or hazards promptly.
• Stays informed of manufacturing/engineering process changes and assists in problem correction.
• May perform rework after testing and generates Quality Notifications.
