Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, seeks an Electrical Test Technician for the Hardware Engineering Services team. You will design, build, and validate custom test racks and mil-spec cable harnesses, working closely with electrical engineers to bring hardware from prototype to test.

You will set up and run tests, document results, and perform PCB rework to IPC standards, while applying IPC-620/610 certifications and MIL-STD-461 EMI/DO-160 configurations. U.S.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building electrical test racks and fixtures in R&D or defense environments.
• Experience wiring cables to mil-spec connectors and EMI shielding terms.
• Ability to read schematics and BOMs with incomplete docs.
• Must be a U.S. person and physically capable of lifting 25 lb.

Responsibilities

• Design and build custom electrical test racks and fixtures from drawings/BOMs.
• Fabricate and terminate mil-spec cable harnesses to IPC-620 Class 3 standards.
• Set up and document electrical test procedures and record findings.
• Operate oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and analyzers.
• Troubleshoot assemblies to component level and drive issues to resolution.
• Perform PCBA rework and repair to IPC-610 standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to interpret drawings and update build instructions.
• Support EMI/EMC test configurations per MIL-STD-461 and RTCA DO-160.
