Job summary
Drive & Shine Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls & Automation Lead to oversee our electrical department, support equipment builds, automation projects, and field installations.
This is a hands-on leadership role, with 1st shift and competitive pay. You will lead projects and technicians while also contributing to electrical assembly, PLC programming, troubleshooting, and startup support.
Qualifications
- Industrial electrical and automation experience.
- PLC programming experience.
- Experience wiring control panels and motor controls.
- Familiarity with VFDs, relays, sensors, and industrial networking.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
- Up to 50% travel based on project workload.
Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical team during equipment builds and installations
- Build and wire industrial control panels and cabinets
- Read and create electrical schematics and layouts
- Program and troubleshoot PLC systems
- Diagnose electrical and automation issues in the field
- Support equipment startup, commissioning, and service work
- Assist with project planning and electrical component selection
- Maintain safety, organization, and quality standards
- Help complete projects on time and support field operations
