Progressive Machine & Design, LLC is seeking a Lead Controls Engineer to lead hardware design and implementation of turnkey automation systems in Victor, NY. You will program, debug, install, and commission controls hardware onsite, collaborating with mechanical and software teams through project life cycle.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in hardware design for automation, strong leadership, and experience with AutoCAD Electrical and PLC programming. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hardware design experience in automation projects.
• Ability to lead and supervise multiple engineers.
• Experience with design reviews and customer requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead hardware design for complex automation projects.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers.
• Define controls architecture and interface with mechanical/software teams.
• Perform factory and site acceptance tests.
