Job summary

Advanced Integration Technology, LP is seeking a Controls Lead for Automation Integration to coordinate shop activities from planning through pre-commissioning, and assist Software Engineers during startup for final acceptance testing before shipping to customer facilities. This role requires strong automation and electrical knowledge, PLC/HMI proficiency, and excellent cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• Five years of controls technical experience or equivalent.
• Must be a US Citizen for government clearance.
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Background in PLC, HMI, and motion control programming.
• Strong interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and pre-commissioning tasks with project teams.
• Review project timelines and capacity to meet milestones and schedules.
• Assess what will be turned into turnkey builds and what will be manufactured internally.
• Monitor purchased parts, delivery timelines, and material availability.
• Communicate changes and NCRs to management and engineering.
• Attend kickoff meetings and status reviews; ensure staffing meets current and future demands.
