Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and inspect industrial electric motors.
• Determine repair needs and identify failure causes.
• Measure bearing fits and machined surfaces with micrometers and calipers.
• Assemble new and repaired motors and perform testing.
• Balance rotors and verify dynamic performance.
• Perform winding and insulation testing.
• Take vibration readings and perform laser alignments.
• Document inspection results and completed work.
• Assist with fabrication and TIG welding as needed.
• Prepare and paint completed motors.
• Support field service at customer sites as required.
• Collaborate with shop team to ensure timely repairs.
