Integrated Power Services in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Electric Motor Mechanic to join our field- and shop-based team. You will diagnose, repair, and rebuild industrial AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps, and related equipment, supporting our continuous improvement culture and commitment to reliability.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years in motor repair, strong measurement skills with meters and vibration tools, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Formación

• 1-5 years in electric motor repair servicing large AC/DC/synchronous motors.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Diagnose and repair rotating equipment including motors, fans, pumps.
• Understand and apply safety procedures.
• Self-motivated with strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Able to work overtime and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and prepare units for shipment.
• Perform mechanical rebuilds on rotating equipment (motors, pumps, fans).
• Measure data with dial indicators, micrometers, and vibration meters.
• Use multimeters, meggers, and instruments to measure winding resistance and tolerances.
• Participate in daily operation discussions on customer products.
