Job summary

Carex Consulting Group is partnering with a behavioral health EHR startup to hire an Implementation Specialist in New York City. You will own end‑to‑end EHR implementations for organizations from growing groups to enterprise teams, translating workflows into configurable system designs and leading go‑live activities.

You will work hands-on with executive leadership, clinical and operations teams, and revenue cycle staff, with periodic travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in EHR implementations or healthcare technology
• Hands-on system configuration including forms, workflows, permissions, and templates
• Experience translating clinical/operational workflows into system design

Responsibilities

• Own multiple EHR implementations from contract signing to go-live and stabilization
• Lead as primary project lead for customer implementations with timelines, milestones, risks, and communication
• Configure customer environments including roles, permissions, security, forms, templates, workflows
• Translate customer workflows into scalable system configurations
• Lead implementation workshops with clinical, operations, intake, scheduling, and revenue cycle teams
• Manage data migration, system validation, and go-live readiness activities
• Train administrators and staff on platform functionality
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to identify gaps and drive improvements
• Maintain clear internal communication with stakeholders throughout the journey
