Hands-On District Manager — Lead Multi-Location Ops

Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a District Manager to lead multiple restaurants, closely supervise General Managers, and drive profitability while upholding food quality and sanitation standards.

You will travel among locations within a 50-mile radius, oversee operations, implement training, and ensure compliance with regulations. The role demands a hands-on approach and availability up to 8–10 hour shifts daily, with a 50–60 hour work week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Restaurant Management OR 1 year of District Management experience.
• Excellent service skills.
• Capable of maintaining an Organized store administratively and in products.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s trading area.
• Able to train, motivate and hire staff to create structure in the organization.
• Possess excellent basic math skills and operate a cash register or POS system.
• Stand for long periods (up to 5 hours).
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Disciplinary action per company policies and procedures.
• Work up to 8–10 hour shifts.
• Open Availability (11am–Midnight, daily).
• Stamina to work 50–60 hours per week.
• Hands-on attitude (cook, cashier, cleaning).
• Knowledge of Inventory and Labor Control.

Responsibilities

• Understand all policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and training programs.
• Ensure guests receive welcoming, responsive service.
• Ensure food/products are prepared and served to recipes and standards.
• Achieve sales, service, quality and sanitation objectives.
• Control cash and receipts per policies.
• Make employment and termination decisions.
• Fill in where needed to ensure guest service and efficient operations.
• Develop staff through managerial and professional development.
• Prepare paperwork, reports and schedules in an organized manner.
• Ensure equipment is clean and maintained.
• Ensure deliveries meet receiving policies and procedures.
• Oversee employee performance appraisals and timely actions.
• Schedule labor to meet activity and maintain labor cost objectives.
• Review and approve weekly schedules.
• Enforce policies and corrective action for violations.
• Comply with health, safety and labor regulations.
• Plan and carry out marketing, advertising and promotions.
• Communicate with Owner/Director of Ops on all issues.
• Conduct weekly QSC Inspections.
• Ensure managers are trained on workflows and inventory counts.
