Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking an Operations Supervisor for its distribution center. You will lead daily activities, balance supervision with hands-on work, and ensure team performance, efficiency, and safety across inbound, outbound and inventory workflows.

The role requires 4+ years in warehousing, with 2+ years in a lead or supervisory capacity, and proficiency with PKMS or related systems. A High School diploma is required, with higher education preferred, and lifting up to 50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma; associate or bachelor preferred in business, logistics or supply chain.
• Minimum 4 years in warehouse/distribution, with 2 years in lead/supervisory role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Knowledge of PKMS or related warehouse management systems.
• Intermediate proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Must be Guitar Center certified to operate all powered equipment within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate workflow to meet production, quality and safety standards.
• Perform tasks alongside team members during peak workload to maintain flow.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed.
• Train, motivate, monitor, and evaluate team member performance.
• Evaluate and standardize procedures to improve efficiency.
• Additional duties as assigned.
