The position requires 3+ years in retail or warehouse, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. It involves high-urgency tasks, weekend/evening work, and physical lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in retail or warehouse settings.
• Valid state driver’s license and automotive insurance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Able to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
• Weekend, holiday, and evening availability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Preferences: Associates Degree; understanding of Guitar Center retail systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operations team to achieve EBITDA, sales, and margin goals.
• Ensure proper staffing levels and training for operations associates.
• Oversee shipping/receiving of gear and store items; maintain warehouse organization.
• Maintain inventory controls, loss prevention, and financial reporting.
• Conduct signage and pricing audits to ensure planogram compliance.
• Drive sales by acting as manager in charge when needed; open and close the store.
