Job summary

FIG Kosher Phones is a growing cellphone and telecommunications company operating multiple retail stores and a nationwide wholesale division. We seek a hands-on Director of Operations to oversee retail and wholesale operations, partner with ownership, and build structured, accountable processes to improve performance.

You will supervise managers, develop daily procedures, and ensure smooth daily operations across locations while promoting professional culture and scalable growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing multiple retail locations or a similar multi-location operation.
• Experience supervising managers and department leaders.
• Strong understanding of sales, gross profit, payroll, inventory, and operational reporting.
• Proven ability to create systems, procedures, and accountability.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Organized, reliable, honest, calm, and solution-oriented.
• Able to travel regularly between store locations.
• Strong computer, spreadsheet, and reporting skills.
• Retail cellphone, electronics, telecommunications, wholesale, or distribution experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all FIG retail stores and the wholesale department.
• Manage and hold store managers and department leaders accountable.
• Create and implement daily operating procedures, checklists, and reporting systems.
• Monitor sales, gross profit, expenses, inventory, returns, and customer service.
• Visit stores regularly and evaluate store conditions and employee performance.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate managers and employees.
• Lead weekly meetings with store managers and department leaders.
• Prepare a clear weekly operations report for ownership.
