Benchmark Senior Living seeks a Dining Services Director for The Falls at Cordingly Dam in Newton, MA. The role combines hands-on kitchen duties with supervisory responsibilities to ensure high-quality meals for residents.

You will manage a team, coordinate menus with dietary guidelines, and handle administrative tasks while engaging with residents and families. Weekend duties rotate with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of dietary procedures and Health Department guidelines for food service operations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Primarily a standing position for extended periods.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of dining service professionals to prepare quality meals.
• Complete daily administrative reports and manage budget records.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and storage rooms.
• Inspect temperature logs for freezers and refrigerators.
• Address resident concerns and communicate with staff and families.
• Oversee menu planning and adherence to dietary guidelines.
