Job summary

The Atrium at Cardinal Drive, part of Benchmark Senior Living, seeks a Dining Services Director to lead the on-site dining team in a hospitality-style kitchen for our assisted living residents. You will cook, serve, and engage with residents, while managing shifts and ensuring high service standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on involvement, budget oversight, and liaison work with families, with a Tuesday-Saturday schedule and a salary of about $70,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior living dining operations or comparable food service environments.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and health department regulations for food service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of food service professionals to prepare quality meals for residents.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal and local regulations and Benchmark standards.
• Maintain budgets and cost reports for the department.
• Coordinate menus and keep minutes for resident advisory activities.
• Interact with residents and families and act as liaison between residents and staff.
