Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Dining Services Director at The Birches at Concord to lead dining operations on a Monday–Friday schedule with a Manager on Duty rotation. The role is hands-on, supporting cooks on the line for at least 2 shifts weekly and engaging with residents and families as a liaison.

Responsibilities include supervising dining staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, budgeting, and conducting monthly resident advisory activities while maintaining quality meals for

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and Health Department regulations for food service.
• Able to serve food promptly and efficiently to residents.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Primarily a standing position for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of dining service professionals to prepare quality meals for residents.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations and Benchmark’s SOPs.
• Report accidents and incidents to the Executive Director.
• Follow planned menus respecting dietary guidelines and records.
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and inspect storage and janitorial areas.
• Monitor temperature logs for freezers and refrigerators.
• Address resident concerns and service issues promptly.
• Manage department budget and financial records.
