Job summary

American Ordnance, a Day & Zimmermann Company, is seeking a Development Supervisor to lead development technicians on the production floor. You will coordinate with engineering, materials, maintenance, metrology and safety to keep people, equipment, materials and schedules on track.

This role requires manufacturing or technical experience, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting, safety, and continuous improvement on a fast-paced line.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Technical education or training preferred.
• 4+ years in manufacturing, machining, production or technical environment required.
• 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or current passport.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities essential.
• Background screening is mandatory for all candidates.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily development activities and schedules to meet customer delivery requirements with engineering and support groups.
• Ensure materials are available and manage inventory and tooling.
• Provide direction and supervision to development technicians on the production floor.
• Coordinate tool changes, equipment calibration, and maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
• Uphold safety and housekeeping standards and drive continuous improvement.
