Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Drafting/Engineering preferred.
• Broad experience in a technical area.
• Forklift license required.
• Valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or current passport.
• Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with team members.
• Background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers or Scientists on projects and studies.
• May act as liaison between the chief of an engineering project and field personnel to ensure compliance with specifications; assist in design and development of processes, equipment.
• Compiles data, prepares technical reports and evaluations, performs experiments, investigations and special tests.
• May act as an engineer on certain projects.
• Prepare requisitions, specifications, bid analyses, coordinate deliveries and assembly of equipment with users.
• May perform building inspections and prepare reports on surveys and problem areas as assigned.
• Coordinate improved maintenance procedures within the Mechanical Division and prepare recommendations.
