Small Batch Delivery is seeking a hands-on Delivery Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day delivery activities and ensure routes run smoothly in Brooklyn, NY. You will work closely with drivers to meet our service standards, coordinate vehicle maintenance, and act as a back-up driver when needed.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, practical, and comfortable working independently in a small business setting, with a focus on reliability and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must have valid New York State drivers license.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Able to work hands-on and independently in a small business.
• Willing to backup driver and handle physical delivery tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery operations and ensure routes run on schedule.
• Manage driver schedules, attendance, PTO, and onboarding.
• Assist with deliveries as needed and troubleshoot field issues.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and monitor fleet health.
• Maintain cold-chain and food safety procedures for refrigerated products.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and management; resolve issues.
• Conduct weekly debriefs with drivers and document follow-ups.
